General Guild Info

UK is a well established, long running and mature community with experience in several MMO’s.  We’re a community that was built on the core values of friendship and and good sportsmanship and throughout the years we’ve had great success both as an active social community but also one that strives to succeed and access all that every game has to offer.

Despite our name we’ve always had a wide range of players from various different countries.  Because we’re a European based guild we obviously have mostly European based players but have in the past had members from North America and from Australia.  The playtimes of our players vary quite considerably too from those that prefer to play casually right up to those that always seem to be logged in.  Thanks to several years of experience we think we’ve found a balance that works for all of these players and we recommend that you read through our community charter which all our players, regardless of game, agree to play by.

UK started life as a guild in Everquest, progressed on to Everquest 2, and is currently actively represented in Rift and SWTOR.  Over the years we’ve also had guilds in other MMO’s either casually or as an affiliated guild that was either started by, or had significant involvement from, a former UK community member.  We’ve seen many of our former members who left to join other games or guilds also return to us including some of those that were around when the UK guild was initially formed in EQ.

UK is currently active in 3 MMO’s.  Each active guild has their own site within the UK network of sites and are linked below -

• Rift – The UK guild was established during the pre-launch early access period in Feb 2011 and was one of the first guilds established on the Blightweald server.  Visit theRift guild site for more information on how we’re doing.
• SW:TOR – With the launch of SWTOR finally complete the UK guild was placed on the Nightmare Lands server already full of community members.  For more information on the SWTOR guild please visit the SWTOR guild site.
• The Secret World – The UK guild started in the beta in June 2012 and was one of the fifty cabals worldwide to be selected as a “founding cabal”.

The community also plays several other games more casually including (but not limited to) : Call of Duty series, Battlefield series, Valve games (TF2, L4D2, etc..), etc…  So if you need a break from MMO’s you’ll often find someone else in a similar position thats happy to jump in for some fun in another game.

Other than the obvious continued success of our current guilds the community are also looking forward to a few games that are currently in development.  The rise of free to play MMO titles has also helped this so in no particular order here’s a list of some of the games the UK community has their eyes on -

• Planetside 2 – Many members played the original and in all likelihood we’ll have an outfit setup in this when it (finally) launches
• The Secret World – There seems to be a growing interest in this game within UK
• Guild Wars 2 – Many UK members enjoyed the first one and are watching the sequel
• Diablo 3 -A lot of our players are watching this having been avid Diablo 1 and 2 players.
