General Guild Info
What does MuTants Guild Stand for?
The most important purpose of the guild is to create a pleasant environment for like minded people who share the love for online gaming, we have been doing so since the start of the guild in 2003 (in a game called MU-Online). This means that gaming is supposed to be fun and relaxing, but at the same time it needs to be challenging. In case of game terms, we would like to refer to high end area's in group no matter if we make the end or not (we usually do though!). The most exciting part of a trip is the journey, not the destination.
When do we play?
We are a European based guild and our members are mostly adults so this means you will find most of us online after work hours (GMT+1 or +2) during the week and most of the time of the weekends.
MuTants Guild Members are social
We think gaming is a social event, MMO's are not made for individual entertainment, but we are convinced it brings people together as well. We organize MUcations (MuTants Guild Holidays), weekends and events which are not mandatory, but if you have the change to join one of these events, you will get to know us a lot better. These vacations are international of course, they have been at the following locations already: Portugal, England, Belgium. This also means we are friendly to strangers in game as well, there is never a reason to start an arguement, we like to keep our name as a friendly bunch of gamers.
Age / Recruitment in guild
The oldest member is 55+ while the youngest is 15 years old. Although we do not refuse applications on age, we do look at the way the applications are filled in. The majority of members are adults and it's not always easy as a youngster to fit right in, for this reason teeners will only be accepted from time to time and not in bulk. As a matter of speaking, we never recruit in bulk, people who have been in guild for a long while need the time to get to know the new members as well, we don't want to become strangers in our own guild either. If your application is pending, you will get contacted by the recruitment officer with an estimated time of when the guild try-out will start.
Rules of Conduct
We are all opposed to breaches of the rules of conduct of the games we play, this means we won't allow the use of bots or the exploit of bugs. In case of doubt, better ask an officer before handling. Violation of this rule equals an immediate and irriversable kick out of the guild.
