Hello there, general kenobi, forums!
We're Lorebound! A daft bunch with history in endgame tomfoolery, but a current focus on hosting a friendly, welcoming community!

Our History
In 2023, we created [LORE] – a laidback guild offering a positive and accessible environment to explore endgame content. We shared plenty of laughs, broke the stigma surrounding harder content in GW2 – and had a blast doing it!
In 2025? We're focused on our cozy spot on the internet rather than an event calendar! Life is often busy, so we just want to play the game we love, when time allows, with folk we adore the company of.
Lorebound Today!
Half of us are 30, so we're clearly too ancient to raid 3-4 times a week. Some of us touched grass and haven't been the same since. Our leaders got a cat called Mavis who needs attention all the time. We got super invested with Wordle. And Baldur's Gate 3 kept getting really cool patches and stuff, so…
...anyway...
Our community is about balance – always has been, always will be. We can be a loud and chaotic bunch when we get together, but we appreciate not everyone has a strong social battery and wants to listen more than chat. We don't take ourselves seriously, at all, but if you ever need advice or support, there's always earnest folk ready to jump in and help.
What We Offer
- A fully upgraded Guild Hall, which includes:
- Guild Enhancements – selectable buffs for everything from XP to Magic Find boosts. You can swap and change what buff you want at any time from the Guild Tavern. Permanent and free.
- 15% Waypoint Discount, so trips to Cantha won't financially ruin your entire family.
- Several resource nodes to harvest from daily.
- A well-maintained, mid-sized roster of 150-200~ members.
- Help, advice, and support from a welcoming group.
- Seasonal community events, impromptu mini-games, and giveaways.
- Representation is encouraged, but not mandatory!
- A community founded around balance. Groups should be fun but always open to improving!
- A well-organized Discord with avenues to arrange events.
- So many cute cat pictures.
What We're Looking For
- Down to earth, friendly people with a sense of humor!
- Compassionate - we have a varied roster with folk from all walks of life. Offer everyone the same grace you'd like to receive.
- Willing to meet us halfway and take steps to get involved. Say hello when you can, share your interests, give us plenty of opportunities to get to know you!
Setting Expectations
- We are usually active from 5pm (UTC) onwards.
- We do not offer an event schedule to avoid commander burnout.
- We are not a 24/7 chatroom. Some days we're super chatty, other days we're busy and quiet.
- Responses will not always be immediate. We have multiple time zones, family or work obligations to rush off to, or sometimes we're just tired from work.
Rules:
- 18+ only.
- Must be on an [EU] server.
- Zero tolerance on hate speech, discrimination, and bullying.
- Always be respectful, positive, and understanding.
- Cruel, argumentative, and pessimistic influences will not be tolerated.
- Teams should focus on fun first, results second, but be open to improvement all the same.
- Respect people's time - always be punctual and reliable to groups.
- Members will be removed from the guild if inactive for 3+ months, but are welcome back at any time!
- New members will have limited access to giveaways and bots until promoted to Scholar at the 3 week mark.
- Discord is mandatory, as it's our main social hub!
