About the Guild

Ego Fiends is a guild aiming to tackle all aspects of the game. Our core group (which all equally administrate the guild) have played nearly every mmorpg over the past 5-10 years at a hardcore, competitive level. We have repeatedly been at the top of our servers in PvP and in top guilds. We have never been in a guild that tackled PvE as well as PvP and we are looking to do that now. The guild will have both a PvP and PvE division, with half of our core group taking charge of each one. While at our core we are a hardcore group, we still have no problem recruiting casual players and actually look forward to having a wide variety of player types to get involved with.

We have a dedicated 5 man tournament team (which runs the guild) and may look into adding another one after launch. We are currently looking to recruit members for sPvP, PvE, WvW, and basically every other aspect of the game. We have dedicated leaders for PvE and sPvP so the guild will be nicely layered for all content and structured properly. Aside from wanting to explore all content in the game, the guild is overall casual/semi-hardcore. We want to cater to all player types. We will be pursuing PvP competitively with our 5 man team and will also be a dominant force in WvWvW combat, but we will not punish any players who do not shape up to those standards.

If anybody is interested in joining, please send an e-mail to, or sign up on the guild website!

Anybody that applies has a 95% chance of being accepted; as long as they appear to be able to speak somewhat properly and have a basic knowledge of the game, we will have no problem taking them in. We will monitor all new members for the first few weeks that they join and if they are not getting along with the rest of the guild or are inactive, we will be kicking them from the guild. If you play somewhat regularly (we aren't requiring hardcore dedication) and get along fairly well with the rest of us, you won't have to worry about being removed from the guild. However, to get into the PvP division and be involved on regular WvWvW trips as well as raids, you will have to show some level of skill or the ability to learn.
